The first-class relic of St. Ignatius of Loyola, gifted to the Cathedral this July, has been installed above the statue of this great saint which is located to the right of the Sanctuary inside the Cathedral.
We joyfully invite you to pray with the relics and present your petitions to God with St. Ignatius’s intercession. We are truly blessed.

About the Cathedral
The Cathedral of Saint Ignatius Loyola serves as the central church of the Diocese of Palm Beach. The word ‘cathedral’ comes from the Latin ‘cathedra‘, meaning ‘seat’ – the seat of the Bishop.
Pope Leo XIV has appointed Most Reverend Manuel de Jesús Rodríguez as the sixth Bishop of Palm Beach. Bishop Manuel was ordained and installed on February 24, 2026.
As the Rector of the Cathedral, the Very Reverend Brian King has been entrusted with overseeing the operations of the Cathedral and serving as the pastor to the parish that the Cathedral serves.
