Sister Deidre Byrne, MD

Sister Deidre Byrne of the Sisters of the Little Workers of the Sacred Hearts is a board certified surgeon, and a retired U.S. Army Colonel. She served for decades as a missionary and medical doctor, including deployments to Afghanistan, and is widely known for her unwavering commitment to the dignity of human life and the integration of Catholic faith in medical practice. Her witness to courageous faith-filled leadership continues to inspire healthcare professionals across the country.

Sacred Heart of Jesus Novena

Beginning June 3rd, we will be praying the Novena to the Sacred Heart of Jesus at all the daily Masses. Printed materials for the prayers can be found at the back of the chapel. We ask all our parishioners to pray with us as we prepare with the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops to consecrate our nation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

Steubenville Youth Conference

Please note: Registration is now Closed. See below for payment information.
 

The cost to attend the conference with St. Ignatius is $350. This pricing includes Conference registration, room and board, and meals at the Conference on Friday and Saturday (Dinner on Friday; Lunch and Dinner on Saturday).

Please note, a non-refundable $100 deposit is required upon registration and counts towards this total cost. Please also note that final payment is due by Monday, June 1st.

All payments can be made by check to the Cathedral of St. Ignatius. Please include “Life Teen Camps and Conferences” or “Steubenville, Atlanta” in the memo line. Payments can be submitted to me on Sunday nights before or after Life Teen meets or left with Amy in the office.

World Youth Day 2027

Bishop Manuel de Jesús Rodríguez invites you to join him on this once in a lifetime pilgrimage to Seoul, South Korea! This Pilgrimage is open to high school youth. andyoung adults, ages 16-39. 

If you will be applying for a scholarship to help defray the cost, register and pay your $500 deposit by March 15th.

Newly Added: We are now including an extra day on the water tubing at Ichitucknee State Park and dinner at Disney Springs on the way home!
 

The cost to attend the conference with St. Ignatius is $445. This pricing includes Conference registration, room and board, and meals at the Conference on Friday and Saturday (Dinner on Friday; Lunch and Dinner on Saturday). It also includes overnight stay in Lake City, FL and dinner at Planet Hollywood in Disney Springs!
